haha i've given up. i have two M&S 36f ones that i got when i was bout 10 weeks and i hate them! they're well comfy, but look shit and my poor boobs point downwards and outwards. OHs just said that they do that anyway and i need a hell of a lot support and stuff to keep them up! i was a 34dd before i got pregnant. i've decided to go for nursing bras now cos they go up to bigger sizes and look a bit more supportive. bloody boobs

WHAT???!!!
Aren't they supposed to deflate after breastfeeding?!!
I'm expecting to have some seriously unattractive droopage after all this, but no way can they stay this large.
Are you kidding?
Most people they dont stay, but mind went from DD with my first to an F, then second F to a G, third G to J, fourth J to LL. So no mine never delflated, I hope yours do if thats what you want

I'm NOT buying any more bloody bras. The whole experience is just making me really angry. I went into two different preg boutiques in town as they had nice bra collections advertised and both of them only went up to DDs!!
WTF?!!
You run a shop for pregnant women and you stock bras that wouldn't even support one nipple, let alone the udders most of us are carrying around. It didn't help that the shops were both staffed by bitchy, unhelpful, very unpregnant, model-thin twits who seem to regard me as being freakishly large.
Do they know how dangerous it is to cop that kind of attitude around emotionally unstable preggos with boob rage? One of my boobs could have taken them out. Just one. That's all it would have taken. Just unleash the bra, a loud smacking sound, and the wretched girl would have woken up on the floor several minutes later with a large nipple imprint in her cheek.
So yeah, I'm just opting out. Too full of hate to deal with bras anymore. And I would like to get through pregnancy without my boobs giving me a criminal record.
You have sooo cheered me up.xxx

I know what you mean about all the maternity bras seeming to only go up to DD. And I've found the same problem with a bunch of maternity tops (not stretchy ones). Being an E before I used to struggle to get into a lot of clothes unless I got about 2 sizes bigger in which case they were like sacks everywhere else and I'm pretty disappointed to find the same thing for preg clothes! Stupid smaller boob bias...

I've found maternity shops to be useless for anything but bottoms. The bra sizes are a joke & not a single top has fit over the girls. I've had to go for plus size tops - luckily there are some pretty pregnant friendly styles right now (why the hell you would wear them if you're not pregnant is beyond me!)

Im still in underwire at a 34G and will stay with underwire throughout my pregnancy, my boobies are far far too heavy to wear non wired it gets quite uncomfy for me.

Hopefully they wont go up too much more now!!

36GG and moving on up...only 8 weeks pregnant so am in no doubt that I'll be all breast by the time I give birth. I'm thoroughly pissed off with the whole gigantic breast and useless maternity bra debate...have been everywhere to find bras that fit and are supportive and comfortable but haven't found any yet. Apparently there's a place in Islington that does made to measure but I've not made it there yet. Made to measure is sounding expensive...

It can't be that hard to create decent maternity bras that cater for all sizes so why the hell hasn't it happened? Went to Mothercare and the largest they had was a DD. Bravissimo only had one in my size (it's revolting and uncomfortable and makes my breasts look like an udder). Tried M & S too, and Leia and some online stores but nothing has worked yet!!!!!

AAAAArrrrggggghhhhh.

Was determined to stay underwire free but am getting to the stage that I think it might be the only solution - I am concerned about the milk production issue but my breasts are weighing more than my head (or at least they feel like they are!) at the moment so are in desperate need of some scaffolding to keep them up!

Good luck with your bra hunt. If I ever find a happy (and sexy) breast maternity bra solution, I'll let you know.

Expensive could be justified if you knew that the boobs were finished with all the growing and changing, but that's the problem - investing in the really good bras that fit properly is not cheap and it's almost pointless as boobs are constantly changing. After pregnancy, nursing, weaning... what, do we all wind up having a massive pile of unusable bras shoved in a drawer somewhere?
Soooo frustrating!
