I'd complain and get a refund on two of the pics. Why should you pay for the same pic 3 times? You could scan one and print it as many times as you want. My OH would hide under the bed in that situation cos she nows I'd hit the roof at that woman. What an insensitive bitch.

Ahhh hun what a beatch!!!! Why are these people in these jobs when they have no people skills. At least you got your mum to work out the baffle and it does only sound like LO was in a diffuclt position to scan, which does happen shame she couldn't have been nice to you. Hope you can still enjoy your weekend, honestly it will fly by till your next scan.xxxx

If you can be bothered, I would take the time to call and complain about her treatment of you. It caused needless anxiety and it was downright discourteous. The worst part about this story for me (besides your disappointment - poor thing - lots of sympathy there!) is that there was a student right beside this woman, learning her delightful bedside manner.
On another topic - the pictures are expensive where you are!! The ultrasound clinics in Calgary don't print any pics. They burn 8-10 images on a disk for you for $20 (about 10 pounds for you). And they are all different!

Even when they begin the scan here, they dont let your OH in the room even! They check everything first. Sonographers ARE NOT doctors, if something is wrong they cant tell you because they have no right to explain any medical condition as they dont have the knowledge the doctor does.

Hope your next one is better, look at it this way, you get an extra scan!
They do the same thing here. 45 minute ultrasound, the support person comes in for like 2 minutes at the end and the tech goes "this is the head, this is a foot, this is an eye" and thats it. They send it to your doctor 10 days later, but it takes like 3 weeks to get in and see a doctor here so you don't get your report until then.
