Just a quick question for those who feel their weight is going up and down: are you weighing yourself around the same time of the day?
I retain water like nobody's business and I can see up to a 6lb weight fluctuation in the course of a day. (One litre of water weighs approx. 2.2 lbs, so that's not unreasonable.)
I weigh myself first thing in the morning after peeing. That seems to be the most accurate for me.
Oh, and weight gain by 16 weeks?
15 lbs.
I'm eating healthy food and only when I'm hungry, but I am hungry all the time. Like stomach-growling hungry, not peckish.
I'm also exercising a lot (pilates, swimming, walking, etc).
So, I'm not going to worry about it, I've decided. The nurse isn't worried about it and she promised that she'd tell me if she thought there was a problem.
Personally, I am pretty sure that I have gained about 5 lbs per boob.

I think I was up 10.8 at my last appointment July 2. I have my next app't on the 30, so I'll probably be at least up at 12 or 13 by then. I think that by 16 weeks I was up 8 lb or so?

I wouldn't worry about the weight gain, though. You're not gaining some incredible amount of weight -- some women gain that in the first trimester! And not everyone gains at a steady rate... some women will gain a lot in a short time and then not gain at all for a while. I think you're doing just fine!

I've put on about a stone so far, but am not stressing myself about it. I am trying to eat a healthy, balanced diet, but at the same time am not going to deny myself the odd treat here and there.
I've also got quite bad water retention, so am hoping that some of that weight is due to that.

I'm up 11lbs or and nearly 18 weeks, If I can keep it under 33lbs (healthy amount), I'm happy

I'm Currently Feeling: 


I've put on 6lbs so far.

Some people will put on weight in the beginning when they are still fairly active and then if they stop doing alot their weight will drop because they lose muscle and everything just turns to mush basically.

I put on 5lbs before my 18th week and since have only put on one extra pound, but my stomach is still growing, im slowly decreasing my excersize though lol... I've notice my legs and arms are getting skinnier.

The baby doesnt start putting on noticeable weight until 24weeks plus.

Pfffft what the hell happened to me then my bloody legs have doubled in size THEY TOUCH!!!! Yea as soon as i finished riding i got bigger and my arms are now instead of being muscled (they were quite sick) they are now just flabby

(I laugh instead of crying)
