Yeah! I was just thinking that. We go camping as many weekends as we can with the kids and the dog. Just show him how much money you save on accommodation when you have to go and visit family etc and point out that it is a 'safe space' to retreat to when the need arises.
You don't even have to do with out a tele and stuff now as most sites have electric hook up pitches. Not that I use them but...
