| Work won't authorise my 2 weeks AL :( Not my fault that I'm due just after Christmas =(
I wanted to take 2 weeks of my remaining holidays on the 15th of dec - 28th of dec then start my mat leave. However, my stupid bosses boss won't allow it b/c it's over the Christmas period =

I'm Currently Feeling: | Were not allowed to at our place either, cause we all have to work over christmas, it depends weather you work christmas day boxing day etc.
Dont see how they cannot allow it though seeing as your tying it in with your maternity leave, alot of places do. Hmmmmm |

| OFC they can let me start my mat leave early but I really need the full pay for those weeks as it's going to be Christmas :\
I work for the NHS but I usually get my public holidays off anyway which includes Christmas day, Boxing day and New years day. She's going to ask again, if not i'll just need to start mat leave earlier than I wanted to and add the 2 weeks holiday onto the end of my mat leave =

I'm Currently Feeling: | I work for the NHS too and i've found them really helpful so far! I think that's really mean of them not to let you take your holidays then. |
