I'm Currently Feeling: | Flying Restrictions? Up until what stage in pregnancy is it safe to fly long haul, like 6-8 hours? I've got the opportunity to go to the states in 8 weeks time but I don't know where the line draws for being able to fly. A couple of people have told me you can't fly in your 3rd tri, and i'll be in there by 2 weeks
TIA! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My doctor told me that I could fly in first and second tri without any problems but they don't recommend flying in third tri. As I was only in first tri at the time, I never questioned it further. I think you may still be able to fly but might need to have your doctor sign off on it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks Vickie. I thought that might be the case. I might have to decline anyway regardless of being pregnant.. i've just seen the price of a plane ticket thanks to the fuel hike charges |

| I think it depends on the air line you use some let you fly all the way through but some wont let you once your 20+ weeks. and i think its round 28 weeks you can fly up 2 my step sister got told that by doctor a few years back.
not 100% sure now tho. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeah, i'd be 28 weeks flying there and 29 flying back. I'll have to give my MW a call as I don't see her for a few weeks yet and i'd need to book my ticket asap. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yea i think that you can still travel with most airlines until 28 weeks no problem and then 28-32 weeks you need a letter from your doctor I think you should be fine, the worst would be getting a letter from your doctor. |
