I know our baby is healthy and fine b/c it kicks me all the time!! What is the normal weight gain for second trimester?? Is it normal that i still have not gained any weight yet?? I'm Currently Feeling: | I wouldnt worry too much. You gained the weight you lost and thats the main thing. Lots of women lose weight in first tri. Normal weight gain is about 1lb a week during second tri I believe? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have only put on 3kg in my whole pregnancy so far (now 24 weeks). Everyone is different, you may not put on weight until your 3rd tri. I'm sure everything is fine hun, as long as you are eating well, which it looks like you are. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Try not to worry hun. You lost quite a bit at first but are now back to your normal weight so can't see any real problem. As long as you're eating a healthy diet, and your midwife isn't worried then I'm sure it's fine.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've only gained 5lbs so far. I weighed myself yesterday and I haven't gained any weight from my drs appointment at 18 weeks. So far I haven't gained the 1lb a week in 2nd tri that my doc was talking about. Some people just don't gain it, or they lose it off the rest of their body and it counteracts. I don't know, but I'm not complaining!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Everyone gains weight at different times, and everyone gains different amounts of weight. I didn't lose weight in first trimester/second tri but I didn't gain anything until I was around 20 weeks (when I put on 10 pounds in 4 weeks ). Overall throughout my pregnancy I've only put on about 20 pounds. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ive gained 6lbs now at 24 weeks. I had an appointment over a week age and I had went from 134lb to 132lb and my dr was concerned, but now im back up to almost 136.
Fruites and veggies etc are good, but you need to eat lots of carbs too, especially if you are planning on breastfeeding later. Your body needs the extra calories and carbs to be able to have enough fat and energy for eveything.
You will eventually end up getting too burnt out if you dont eat enough.
That being said, there is no need for you to gain 60lbs plus during pregnancy either lol. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It varies for each person. I gained some in my first tri due to my thyroid, but really haven't gained any since... Of course I am almost to the third tri when you start gaining again!! |
