My dentist told me the only thing really is to brush more and use a mouthwash ! also if your gums become to sore try rubbing sensodyne toothpaste into them in circular motions with your finger ,

Hope this helps !

My dentist suggested a gentle mouthwash and brushing 3x a day.
It's been helping me a little!

I'm having the same problem, I'm just brushing really softly, and when my gums get really sore I use Corsodyl which my dentist gave me, it helps if the gums start to swell and my dentist said it's safe to use when pregnant.

I was going to post something about this today - glad to see I'm not the only one suffering! I knew bleeding gums might be a problem when pregnant but I never thought it would be this bad! Not sure there is much else we can do apart from light brushing 2-3 times a day and mouthwash

I've not had bleeding gums, but have developed a geographic tongue (where the taste buds sluff off in patches) that hurts quite a bit. My OH is a dentist and says there isn't much I can do about it. Stupid hormones!
