carpal tunnel

My doctor says I show early signs of this. I was also informed that I can't really do much about it, but wear an arm brace and set up my desk at work accordingly. It's okay it is just very very painful I haven't even done much the last few days but lay down with my arm rested. Now I am back at work still in pain I'm pretty tough though I can deal. But has anyone ever gone through this I hear that it sometimes goes away after having the baby. You're more prone to this while pregnant..........I don't know this is all way new to me all I know is if you work at a computer set it up right and take A LOT of breaks because it hurts!!

Yes, I had it too. And it got quite bad whilr breast feeding. But if you keep wearing your armband it does get better.

My baby is 5 months now and it the carpal tunnel is acting up again. But I suspect its because Ive been doing press ups. So the arm band has gone back on now and the press ups have stopped.
Hope yours gets better soon.

Have you got one of those gel pads for your keyboard?

Yeah my manager got me one for my keyboard and one for my mouse. We will see how it goes! I will just take a few breaks here and there.

I've got it .. wore a support thing for a while but it wasn't helping. my doctor said if it got really bad to go back and he'd sign me off work for a week or 2 for it to heal better

that would be nice, but I can't afford to take off work! My company is really cool though they will work with me.
