Hello everyone. Anyone else having loads of nightmares? Last night I woke at half 2 after dreaming I lost the baby. First I passed this tiny foetus but thought it was undeveloped and couldn't have been the baby, but then I passed another which was more developed. I was hoping baby was ok as I still felt pregnant but then the bleeding began and the notion that I wouldn't be having a baby and all our plans for the next year or so were devoid hit me like a sledgehammer. Woke in a sweat. The babies were weird because they were sort of like brains.

And the night before I had an epic Dr Who/Buffy style dream where this woman had lost her baby and kind of got possessed by her grief and took over this gas factory (whatever that might be!) possessing everyone who was there so that they couldn't work and were all pairing up as if to make up for her loss. She's carried he dead Mum's bones in a shroud like a mummy, and the body was carrying her dead baby shrouded, both of which had been hidden somewhere in the factory. But in my Dr Who/Buddy role I suspected it was the woman we were with and took on her a wild goose chase in the hope talking would help her come to terms with her grief but then I pushed her too far, went to give her a hug and she started tickling and attacking me. Gah! What's with all the tickling?!

So anyone else want to share their horrid pregnancy nightmares?

I have been having the odd dreams to ! definatly had the ones about losing the baby infact in one of my dreams bubba has just disapeared !!

I find myself waking up and touching bump just to make sure its still there !!

The night before last, I dreamt that I was bleeding and wanted to use a tampon. My friend was saying that I couldn't because it's dangerous, so she gave me a suction tube to use on the way to the hospital. I was looking at it and I could see a formed babies head. I was screaming and crying, but she just kept saying that nothing is certain unti we see the doctor!!!
Then last night I dreamt that baby was being really wriggly just to the left of my belly button. When me and my friend looked at my tummy, it was like a window. We looked through it and could see the hands, then the face. It looked really, really frightened and kept mouthing that it was scared, it didn't like the dark and would we please let it out. I then woke up and was really freaked out to notice baby wriggling to the left of my belly button!!! Freaky!!
Dreams are jst dreams and usually reflect our fears, not reality. As horrible and vivid as they are, we have to remember that they mean nothing and try to get over them.
Big though, they freak me out for the rest of the day too!

I've had a few. Most recent was last week just before my scan. I dreamt that I had started bleeding and it was bright red like the blood in old horror movies so I went to the hospital but no one would believe that this blood was coming out of me and refused to do a free scan. Someone then turned round and told me I had to pay £800 for a scan to make sure baby was ok at which point my mum and dad showed up and said they could pay half but couldn't afford the rest. I then sneaked into the scan room and tried to do the scan myself but the bleeding got worse and I ended up slipping over. The dream then ended and I woke up in tears. I hate it I panic for ages after having dreams like this

Aw Bubbles and xKatx your dreams are scary too!

I know they don't mean anything and funnily enough I was way more freaked out by the mad woman dream than the one losing the baby. As soon as I woke up I thought that's not what babies look like. I had a migraine all night last night too and that also gives me scary dreams.

i had horrible dreams in the 2nd tri too - really graphic and quite disturbing. the worst dream i had was i was sitting in the sitting room watching telly and a man came up behind me with an axe and axed me straight through my head! it was horrible cos i was watching my own death!

they do go away, i acutally haven't had a dream in a long time. i hope your nightmares stop soon.
