| Swelling Well, I thought I might be able to get away with not swelling up like a balloon, but at long last it has arrived despite my best efforts. Any suggestions to make it go down? I'm assuming the heat isn't helping much, but my hands feel so tight it feels awkard to even make a fist. | | | | Status: Offline

| Have you had it checked out rae? Swelling in the feet is pretty common, but swelling in the hands and face can be a sign of PE (not trying to scare you) but it's always best to have it checked | | | | Status: Online

| Some swelling is normal, but for your hands I'd go ahead and have it checked out. I mean chances are it's just the heat but it never hurts to have it looked at. | | | | Status: Online

| I know what you mean Rae - I have got awa with it so far until a few days ago and now my ankles tend to resemble elephants ankles if I am on my feet too long. Spent 5 hours at Calgary Stampede on Saturday and was shocked by the size of them afterwards! | | | | Status: Offline

| I agree with others.
Swelling can be an ordinary pregnancy symptom but also a sign of pre-eclampsia.
Best to get it checked out and put your mind at rest... | | | | Status: Offline
