glucose tests

went for my glucose tolerance tests this morning... UGH! Anyone else had these? I am a pretty hardy individual but that drink was unbelievable! Like liquid icing sugar. And as for not eating for 12 hours..... Worst morning in a long time. Thank god for trash mags to pass the time!

You have it if you have a history of diabetes in your family or are overweight. Not everyone has to have it done.
