Bleeding at 22 weeks, has anyone experienced this?

I've just started bleeding...not a great amount but its bright red blood when I wipe myself...has anyone else experienced this so late. I have had previous bleeing in pregnancy..but not this late. I've also got cramps...right above the pubic bone, as if I was coming on a period.

Should I wait and see how things go? Or contact the Midwife and see what she has to say?

Sorry for sounding like looney, hubby at work and at home with 4 kids....just don't want to overreact if you know what i mean

Thanks in advance

If I were you I would contact NHS direct straight away and they can advise you what to do.

Fingers crossed for you that everything is ok

I agree with the others, I would contact your MW or NHS Direct if you can't get in touch with your MW. Let us know how it goes.

My sister had heavy red bleeding at 24 weeks with her first boy who was fine so try not to panic but definitely go to A&E (if you haven't already)! Let us know how you get on.
