I'm going to cry...

My back is killing me the last two days. I can't fix it!! Nothing helps I want to cry. It doesn't help that I have to sit in front of a computer all day long. It went away last night my love rubbed my back until I fell asleep but now its back. All I want to do is lay down. . . . I know it's something that just happens, but what are some ideas that could give me relief while I work.........I'm about to go home early, but I really can't afford it. I'm such a baby I know.

I find sitting at the computer a killer for my back. I've wondered if one of those supportive donut cushions might help. Why don't you chat with your MW or GP about it? They might be able to recommend some way of sitting or things you can use to help support your back.

You should bring a hot water bottle to work and keep it on your back when you're sitting in front of your comp. If I have a day where I'm on here a particularly lot, I always end up in bed with a hot water bottle and it helps so much.

Bunnie...I'm a massage therapist for a living and if I was nearer I'd come and sort you out. If you have one near you I'd seriously suggest you go see a therapist who has experience with pregnant women. Its well worth the money.

On a note about your work....its really important that you get up regularly and do some stretching exercises. Also when you are at home you need to try and take the weight off your neck as much as possible. People dont realise how much strain the weight of you head puts on your neck and back.

Also I'd invest in a good quality full length pregnancy pillow.

I just now bought a pillow! so yay! and yeah I was thinking about that. The only thing that makes it feel better is if I lay down on the floor flat on my back and I could fall asleep its so comfy, but I try not to stay that way for to long. Or if pookie isn't home then I don't because it's no fun getting up =] I brought a back rest thing for my chair to work....so far so good.!!
