I went to them when i was pregnant with my daughter. Waste of time, they didn't do any breathing with us beacause of health and safety reasons!!! and i learnt more from my books. Definatly don't pay for them.

The only good thing was meeting other couples who were expecting at the same time and we still meet for coffee now and our LO's are 3 years old.

Ladies, you're all wonderful. I've had much better advice from you guys than from the bloody professionals.

I'm not going. It would be great to meet other couples but I've been told by a few people that even if they do teach you breathing techniques it all tends to go out the window when you're actually in labour. I also don't want to pay for it.

I forgot to book my parentcraft classes at my 12week scan so I won't bother. I certainly wouldn't pay for classes

thats stupid them giving u little choice to pay. Surely it should be like part of your medical path (not path can't think of the right word ) but ya know your entitlement. I can understand people who request late and stuff but not offering it all seems wrong IMO

I'm not going to any. I don't feel like sitting in a class, it feels like school lol! Besides, I saw my nephew being born so I know what to expect.
