Birth Plan

This may sound like a really stupid question but is 20weeks too early to start writing my birth plan and does any one have any tips for setting it out?

I'd go for it! In my notes there's a reference guide sort of section with prompts of things to write down. Do you have that in your notes?

I started to think about my birth plan soon as i found out i was pregnant and i no what i want and dont want and i havent felt rushed about it. But i havent wrote it down yet and im almost 30 weeks!

If you look in your green book you will find some tips in there about what to write about. But its just like what pain relief you want, what type of birth, what dont you want and what are you open to, whos your birthing partner, what do you want to happen after the birth do you want your lo put straight onto you or cleaned first? And do you want help to speed up the delievery of the placenta

Ive thought about it... but my OBGYN seems to have a pretty strict schedule of happenings that we have been doing, so Im just going to wait for her to ask about it.

I should be starting my every other week appointments soon anyways.

Never to early, atleast you wont have to rush it. My midwife is going to do mine with me at our next apointment. In my notes there is a quide of the sort of things you might want to plan, have a look in your notes or ask your midwife for some help.
