Question

Anyones baby lazy??

Hey girls. As most of you will know, i had my scan on Monday and found out we're on team pink!! YAY!

Anyway, i hardly ever feel little baby Harmony moving!! When i had the scan, she was really lazy and wouldn't budge to check her spine so i have to go back in 2 weeks. The sonographer said baby was very healthy and fine. But i cant help but worrying about not feeling her.

I just thought i'd be feeling all sorts of things now i'm at 20wks. Maybe i was wrong? I felt more when i was 16wks gone!!

Be good to hear from someone else with the same worries.

Thanks. xxxxxxx

I dont really feel that much. I thought id feel more by now as i felt the first flutters at about 15 weeks. Do you have an anterior placenta? Maybe she is just a lazy baby!!! Hmmmm maybe that will mean she sleeps well when she is here! I wouldnt worry hun, its still early. Some people (my friend included) didnt feel any movement until 22 weeks!!!

I felt more movement 2 weeks ago than I do now. I'll go 3-4 days and not feel a thing, but I know she's moving in there because on the scan she was moving and I couldn't feel that either! I think she kicks around most when I'm asleep because when I wake up in the morning my uterus feels really achy

I didn't feel much movement until after 24 weeks I know it's hard but try not to worry. Your scan went well and the tech said everything looked great

It probably has to do with the position the baby is in. I know that even now there are days I don't feel as much movement, depending on which way she is laying

She's laying on my left side, so maybe thats why?!

She's really hurting my hip at the moment so i think she's lying on a nerve or something!!

Wait until she gets bigger and all the swelling starts happening on that side! (Mine's a right sided baby always has been).

There are lots of days that I don't feel as much movement, just the position she's in (probably facing another way) and/or she's having a lazy day

It could be where the baby's laying. Or it could be that she's active at night when you're sleeping! If I get really worried I have a can of coke and that seems to get my lazy bones dancing! Feel a bit mean but it puts my mind at rest!

Loads of people dont feel their baby much till later, maybe you should feel happy, means that you have less time feeling bruised
