I'm Currently Feeling: | Alright, gettin a little tired of this being out of control thing... So what can I do that will at least make my body bouncing back a little easier after I give birth? I don't mean to whine but I am seriously NOT dealing with this getting huge/stretch marks/acne thing very well. I'm getting completely concerned about what I'm going to look like after with the stretch marks/extra skin/MASSIVE BOOBS. Are they going to shrink at ALL after I give birth? Because if not, I need to call up a plastic surgeon. I just cannot walk around the rest of my life with G boobs haha.
What can I do now that will help ease back into my old body after?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | They say if you exercise before then you will shed the baby weight a lot quicker after. I have been walking about 1 hour a day, normally I would drive to work but I have been walking 30 min to work and 30 min back. I have also been swimming, as for stretch marks I have been reading and reading and there is nothing to prevent them but using creams do help. I invested in some bio oil which is nice but expensive. Eatting well obviously helps as well. I would not worry about it too much some people the weight just falls off others struggle. I think I will struggle as I like my food too much!!! |

| I feel the same Rae! Im not really worried about the weight loss as I know I will be able to do that but excess skin does worry me. The key is apparently to keep hydrated and moisturised and not to loose weight to quickly.
If all else fails...tummy tuck! (Im half joking...!) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | See I'm having a tachycardia pregnancy(which means my heart rate is entirely too fast). I'm not put on bed rest but I am pretty much banned from doing anything that is going to increase my heart rate. Since my heart rate at rest is between 155-160 I can't do a whole lot in terms of exercise or else I'd be out speed walking around this place. How about pilates or yoga, will that help at all?
haha I'm putting that plastic surgeon on speed dial carrie |

I'm Currently Feeling: | antenatal yoga would def help Rae, i have carried on doing my yoga exercises from before i was pg but have adapted them to suit pregnancy* it will help keep your core strong and tight.
do you have an exercise ball? they are great for doing gentle exercise on*
walking is great exercise if you can do it with your condition and swimming at a really gentle pace is good too, as long as you can easily hold a conversation while exercising then you shouldn't be exerting yourself too much. but check with your doctor on anything you decide to do*
try not to worry, i had one of those 'out of control of my body' days yesterday, its only natural i think! alot could be water which will go after babes is born, and if you decide to breast feed that burns 500-600 cals/day which is a pretty good workout!
take care xxxxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I feel the same way, Rae! I looked down at my fat stomach today and I wanted to say "okay! Time is up! come out of there and be all finished and pretty baby!" But of course I didn't say it because of course it wouldn't have worked. Yoga sounds likoue a good idea for you though, it really does. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It is the most bizarre thing isn't it. 'Controlling' your weight all your adult life and then the body just taking over, and there's not an awful lot you can do about it! I never used to put weight on my legs or bum, but now I'm WIDE! I've taken hope from a couple of my friends. One lost her weight in about 2 weeks - and went to less that she was to start with, and another friends baby is 6 weeks and she's pretty much back to pre-pregnancy weight. And I know neither of them did any exercise whilst preggers cos they're on my case if I do ANYTHING! Take a deep breath honey and try and just go with it. I'm sure that you look completely gorgeous, but you just can't see it yourself. |
