I'm Currently Feeling: | Horrible old bitch. I get so cross with people who think that because you're pregnant they have the right to an opinion on you, your life, you body and the way you do things. You are amazing Amy and I really admire what you and Nathan are doing. You especially. Don't let pig ignorant, bitter old witches like that get you down |

The best thing to do is just
You will be a great Mum, and little Lola-Rose will not miss out on anything hun.

I'm Currently Feeling: | this is what my dad thinks i should do. he thinks it would be better to give him to a nice catholic family who really want a baby, because apparently i can't give him the best life because i'm not living with baby's dad and the best way to raise a child is if you're living together.
i don't think it matters at all, she will still have a wonderful life and be loved just as much now than if you were married to her dad or even with him | | | | Status: Offline

I raised my daughter for the majority of her 14 yrs alone and she has a wonderful life. She is excelling at school and everyone constantly tells me what a credit she is to me. And her Dad has bugger all to do with that.

Lisa is definitely an example, and many other women, even on this forum who excelled at being mothers even though they were single.
I come from a two parent home and you pretty much know how that worked out.
Ella, you and your boyfriend love your little boy so much, just because you don't live together doesn't mean that you'll be bad parents,it just means that you are young and figuring things out still.
Your father should support you and believe in your abilities to raise your son.
Of course,I see nothing wrong with adoption,it is a wonderful, selfless thing...but I couldn't go through with it and I have no reason to go through with it.
And you shouldn't be pressured by anyone to do it,especially not for the wrong reasons like for example the child should be raised in a family where the parents are married. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Omg what a horrible woman, I overheard a woman at the post office mention how she was sad that her granddaughter was pregnant and unmarried and she should do the right thing and have it aborted as obviously she was no good to be a mother if she can have a child out of wedlock, I was fuming that not only could she be that mean about single mothers but about her own granddaughter too!! surely some people just need to open their eyes to what todays society is now like. /sigh I guess it just proves that single mums have more spirit and are less blinded by ignorance and are stronger willed than a lot of other people out there, good on you all single mums (and dads) |
