I'm Currently Feeling:

Silly old busy body. Ignore her. I'm so sick of random strangers spewing up their twisted views on people as they go around!

Someone tried to talk to me in a store the other day, but I didn't like her tone and could sense that she was one of those 'spewers' so I ignored her. Just acted like I couldn't hear or see her. I know it is rude of me but I just can't be bothered giving such people any energy when all they want to do is spout their rubbish.

What does that old woman know about love and how good a child is going to feel about life? NOTHING. You are going to give your daughter a life filled with love and goodness, while that old busy body is going around spreading miserable narrowmindedness.

Rant over.

I would have bitch slapped her. It doesn't take two parents to raise a child/adult with manners. She surely proves that!

First of all I want to say, she had no freakin right to say what she did. That was rude and ignorant.

Secondly, honey, even though you and Nathan are not married or not in a relationship, I can see very well that you both have a partnership and a good friendship, and because of this your daughter is going to have great parents.

That child will be much better off than in a family where there is no love and the parents are always fighting.

Do you know what they do when a couple separates and is fighting for custody here in Canada? They want you to take parenting courses so that both parents are fit to bring up a child in a separated home. It prepares these parents on how to deal with parenting while not together.

They want you to get along so that child is not going through stress etc.

The main thing is the interest of the child and in my eyes, all I can see is that Lola-Rose is going to have the best interest from both you and Nathan and she's going to be one lucky little girl!!

I dont believe anyone should get married JUST BECAUSE there is a baby on the way.
Im not going to get married yet, i want to get married because he truley loves me, not because we have a son.

But i agree with everyone else, i probley would of handled it the same way! (including the bursting into tears! )

You should have asked her if she had two parents, when she said yes then say that is a clear reason why two parents dont automatically produce a good, caring and respectful human being! Silly cow!

What a nasty, rude and ignorant person. She is not even worth acknowledging, so the best you could do is to just ignore what happened.

You are amazing for bringing a baby into life and being prepared to care for her. She is jut an old lady set in her old ways.

Just let the steam out and forget her.

Thanks guys!
The more I think about it,the more I think one nice catfight in the middle of the store was needed.

I mean,a stranger come to you and says something like that!

It's sad that somebody still feels like that.

But on the upside she didn't manage to ruin my night!
And another plus are all of your replies!
