Sciatica?

This might sound silly but what does it actually feel like? I'm worried that I'm developing it

My left thigh and under my bum feels really numb and stiff. It's not painful as such.. just irritating.

Hmmm. Maybe mine is mild then. I'm walking with a limb but I can still walk. IDK, maybe I just slept in an awkward position all night?

It can be a sharp pain in the bum too (pardon the pun).

I have sciatica too and it comes as lower pain pain and shooting pain down to my ankles. Had a back back ever since I was thrown from a horse. I find that a hot water bottle helps if I lie my legs on top of it. Also try lying on a cold, hard floor. Can't really recommend anything else as I'm suffering too.

hot water bottle is fine. keep an eye on the pain though as i thought mine was siatica but the midwife thinks its PGP and I may have to go to physio. Apparently pregnancy doesnt 'cause' siatica so if you have never had it before it may be that it is PGP instead. Sorry to sound all doom and gloom and to be honest my pain has eased up and ive felt great the last few days but if it is something like PGP better to get it looked at early!

Hope you feel better soon!
