Bloat?

Ok, am a little confused. I would have thought that by this stage baby bump was all...well bump! But over the last few days my bump has gone down quite a bit and I went on the scales and have lost 2 kilos.

Any clues? Was it a bit of bloating or has baby moved??

I'm Currently Feeling:

Might have been a bit of bloat... I am 22 weeks and still dont have much of a bump at all.

The last couple of days it has grown alot though, I was starving for 2 days straight (couldnt get enough food) and then all of a sudden it blew out... lol... I was actually sick feeling that night because of the growth spurt.

The baby is rapidly growing at this stage though, alot of growing taller and filling out. And it is finally big enough to start making you get bigger.

Im sure yours will put on a big growth spurt too soon.

I go up and down ALL the time, there is never much of a bump there but i think its normal to keep changing just now. Im starting now to get something of a bump (ha ha i hope) Maybe we should be greatful not to have a massive bump yet, we're only half way there imagine how big we'd all be at the end. Dont worry your baby might have just moved into a different position or something

I'm the same. I know I'm only 17 weeks but one day I seem big and really round. The next It's gone down and I look flat? Haha. . But aslong as I know baby's hb is still going it puts my mind at ease. Can I just ask? Even though baby's hb is beating, can it stop growing? Or is that me being stupid?

If baby shifts position, then it can make your bump look a lot smaller - if the baby is laying further back than usual then it'll make your bump shrink. But I don't know about the weight, so it could have been bloating. Maybe a bit of both?!
