It is probably just stretching pains, for exampe, round ligament pain. Also, if the pain is down at your pelvis and is quite intense, it could be SPD, which is to do with the pelvis bone and pregnancy (not harmful to the baby, but sore for the mother - ask Ann-Marie for information as she suffers from this).

It is probably nothing to worry about, especially if you have already seen the doctor about this and he thinks it is fine. However, if you are really concerned, just go up there again (that is what they get paid for after all!) or phone midwife.

I hope you feel better soon.

Sounds like streching pains have got to you.
It sounds normal for this stage you're in,and pregnancy symptoms come and go.
Also, the weight loss-normal.Some women don't gain a single pound. It's fine and your diet will settle on it's own.
Cheer up!

try not to worry.....I posted pics of my bump in Bumps on friday and today its disappeared!! I'm putting it down to the baby moving about and i dont have any wind......I have actually lost weight since becoming pregnant but when i went to A&E the midwife there said that im fine and the baby is fine too....she said that sometimes, especially when you have been sick you lose weight and also, if your appetite has gone then the baby takes everything you do eat and leaves nothing for you!!

I still have pains but having a bath helps and some people's stretching pains are more than others...i still have painful cramps when i go wee but there is nothing in my wee to suggest anything wrong. The doctor said its probably my womb putting pressure on my bladder.

Try not to worry as it not good for the baby.....xxx

Dont worry, if that is where your pain is (bladder) I get pain there all the time. Sometimes worse then others. And I get my urine tested every appointment.

I have the same pains in my abdomen. I called my mother in law and she said it's your bladder. I have to pee a lot during the day and at night, I don't pee (even though I'm sure I have to) and it fills up and then the baby puts pressure on the bladder. Once I pee I feel better and the pain goes away.

When I wake up though, it's always to the point where I can't even sit up to get out of bed, I literally have to lay flat and sorta roll out. Lol.

It will get worse with more weight. =(

All worth it though. =)

I think others have said it too but I have the same problem when I've a full bladder. It's the pain that wakes me up every morning rather than need to pee. I think my uterus it still quite tender with the stretching so the extra pressure from a full bladder is more than it can take! Hope your pain goes soon!
