| I feel the exact same way. When I have expressed these feelings most people kind of give me "You're so selfish but it will change when it comes" vibe and I feel so guilty. But it doesn't feel natural for me at all. I want the best for the little one but I also want to return back to my normal, non - gestating, lactating self as soon as possible. |

Then you won't think of them as pleasure zones, coz him playing with them will make the milk come out more. I won't even let my OH near mine now, even though i wear a bra and breast pads to bed. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I feel like this too.....first of all, i hate my nipples being touched, sucked etc i cant stand it!! Plus, even if i could get past that....i had breats implants three years ago and ever since having them...my left nipple is slightly numb but very painful so if i could breastfeeed...its would only have to be out of one boob!! |

| Personally, I think everyone should TRY. Even if for just 1 or 2 feeds. You just don't know how it'll feel until you do it IMO. |

| Yeah. I think it's very unfair when people look down on mothers who don't breastfeed Aslong as the baby is gaining weight at the right pace and is healthy, i don't see why it should really matter. |

I agree, the reason why u have breasts anyway is because theyre for your baby. Otherwise everyone would be flat chested. Like I was before being pregnant, lol. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Breastfeeding isn't for everyone. I found it quiet hard for the first couple of weeks, but everyone kept telling me to just try a bit longer and i ended up b/f for a year and loved it. I think that b/f my daughter made our bond stronger and i felt fantastic.
If it really isn't for you tough, don't pressure yourself. There is so much going on when a new baby arrives that you should just make the right choice for you and your baby. | | | | Status: Offline
