I'm Currently Feeling: | I didn't hear anything about it. I eat ice cream at mcd, burger king, baskin robbins. At least once a month too
Maybe i should cut down on the ice cream/milkshakes intake | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | don't worry. It is fine to have a soft serve ice cream once in a while. If not, it would be on the "do not under any circumstance eat this" list. The only thing I was told to avoid was canned tuna. I think everything else is open for me to enjoy. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't know about other places, but hubby looked up the soft serve ice cream at DQ and they only use pasteurized milk (I've eaten lots of Dairy Queen ice cream ). I'd assume that most places do now use pasteurized milk, so don't really see any problems with eating soft serve ice cream. |

| I have been told on 2 seperate MW visits (haven't seen the same one twice!) Not to eat soft serve ice cream- I have also read on a FAQ website about Mcd's that pregnant ladies shouldn't eat it.
I went to Mexico in the first tri-mester and they had all you could eat self serve soft ice cream- I hadn't been told about not having it at the time, but I steared clear of it because most dairy is not Pastuerised in Mexico (so you can pass listeria onto babs)
When I got home I gorged on Mcd's and other soft serve ice cream to make up for watching people help themselves to gorgeous ice cream with all the toppings you can imagine.
I only found out AFTER my week long gorge of the stuff that I shouldn't eat it. All things went through my mind- I googled the sypmtoms of listeria and I was convinced I had it ( I don't as far as I know!!)
So i'm sure it will be fine- but I have decided to stear clear of it now I have been told- I am just a worrier and the pleasure I would get from it wouldn't be worth how much I would worry- but that's me!!
Have you seen the add on tv for the new cornetto mcflurries- it's like torture- my hubby has promised to get me one on the way home from the hospital after she's born- funny though I was never mad on it before pregnancy!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm sure it's fine as long as you don't eat it every day. It's probably made with unpasturised milk, like Mr whippy's. I've had a few too and am sure they've done no harm |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think in North America (excluding Mexico) you'd have to pretty much have to go LOOK for unpasturized milk. I'm not sure about the UK. Here though, you really need to go on a mission. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Everything in moderation girls! One a week/month isnt going to kill you...When we say 'you shouldnt eat that' we mean, dont get a soft serve when your out shopping everyday...
Ive easily had at least 3 mcflurry's during my pregnancy..
Just dont have 3 a day lol |
