Cramping question.

Okay, so for the last few days I've had this annoying cramping going on. Now before you say anything, it's NOT round ligament pains -- I've had those, too, which feel kind of like a stitch after running -- at least not from what I know of them.

The cramps aren't super heavy though they are painful, but not anywhere near unbearable. Last night I was lying in bed on my left side, and my left lower abdomen started to ache... it got annoying enough that I switched sides, but it didn't go away. Then I got a shooting pain down my, err, lady parts. I switched sides again, the pain left, and I fell asleep.

So today at work I'm sitting here at the office, and I have had to deal with on and off cramps in my left and now right lower abdomen, not to mention the annoying shooting pains in the vajayjay. Just to note, the pains usually only last for a few seconds and are totally random. They will show up and bug me for a few hours, then leave entirely for a whole day.

I'm going to see the doctor next week so I'm going to talk to her about it then, but I wanted to see what you guys think about it... is it just an annoying (VERY ANNOYING) growth spurt? Should I be concerned? I have my ultrasound in 4 days and I don't want to have to worry about anything else this week!

I've had shooting pains too. Down my abdomen where my womb is and my bits and also my bum. I mentioned it to the MW this week and she said it's just the normal stretching and stuff so don't worry!

Thanks for the reassurance! I figure it's probably normal, but it's such a pain in the, well, everything! Thankfully it's been gone for the past half hour or so. I'm hoping it will leave for the rest of the day!

You're welcome. I'm sure it'll pass. My MW was just "great being a woman isn't it?"!
