Do you need a full bladder for internal scan


Does anyone know if i need a full bladder for a transvaginal scan. I know some scans you need to but i cant remember, got scan at 4.30 so time to stock up!!

No you don't. One of my early scans was internal because my bladder was empty.

Like the others said empty, thank goodness as I had filled mine up at my 6 week scan and could not have handled an internal scan with a full bladder!

As the others have said, No you don't I had a scan and needed a full bladder but then they wanted to do an internal one and told me to go and empty my bladder.
