I have had a really rubbish weekend.

On Saturday we went to Doncaster to support our club in a tournament we had been there 15mins when my best friend came over to me and said I really dont feel well I cant see out of my left eye. I told her to calm down and she said something isnt right I need to go to hospital. I asked if she was dehidrayted did her head hurt and she said no, I cant see out of my left eye and I cant feel my left hand, at this point she was really panicking. I told my huibby to go and get the car and in the couple of minutes it took him to get the car the feeling had gone from her left leg as well. We took her to the hospital and they did tests and a CT scan she she has suffered bleeding on the brain. I couldnt believe it she is young fit and healthy why does something like this have to happen. She is supposed to be getting married in 3 weeks and was try for a baby.

Sorry fpr babbling and if I have gone into too much info just needed to write it all down and try and get things sorted in my head about it actually happening. It still doesnt seem real.

She is in Sheffield Hospital and is being kept sidated they have reduced her mediciation through the night and she opened her eyes and moved her arms, they drained the blood on Saturday night and are hoping to do an angiagram today to see where it came from and if its stopped. i am going to see her tonight, i just want her to be ok and back to her normal self.

It's so hard when people get sudden illnesses and I think more so when they are younger. Last winter my cousin fell ill with meningitis while on holiday in Italy and my Mum and I had to fly out to Venice. She was in a coma and they thought she was going to die. My uncle was coming from NZ so took a couple of days to get there. It was awful but she has made a complete recovery - totally amazing! People have remarkable healing powers.

I'm not surprised it doesn't seem real. Sounds like it happened very fast. I hope she's going to be ok. Are you ok after havin a bit of a shock? She's lucky she was with someone at the time
