I'm a little bit worried. I've been having period like pains, they are not like cramping, but quite gentle pain. I had these kind of pain at the first trimester too. Couple of days ago I also had some painless braxton hicks contractions and doctor prescribe me No-spa and Duphaston. Now they're gone, but now I'm having these pains instead and I'm worried

I get these period pain feelings quite a lot. I think it is all to do with the stretching process. It's gonna ache when your uterus is growing big enough to fit your little one in comfortably!!!

Yeah my doctor told me 'stretching pains' ! I had them really bad one morning, i was almost in tears with the pain all around my bump and my back i ended up going to A&E but after doing a few checks they were happy and said baby is fine its just stretching.. the next day i woke up and bump had got huge :O lol But if it does start to really hurt or worry you, it wont hurt to get it checked out!

Hi there, don't worry chick. I had period like pains for 24 hours solid earlier on in the week and luckilly had a m/w appointment the next day. She said just the same as the other girls have said.... stretching and growing. Not sure what size you are, but she said that slightly smaller females may expect more discomfort, not sure if that's true!

I saw a friend yesterday who was suprised at my bump and said I'm definintely bigger and must have 'popped out'..... so I guess it must have been related??!!!??
