I'm Currently Feeling: | Worries about.... (anyone too?) Ok, I dont know why but yesterday I read a story about a girl that lost all her amniotic fluid. She just started to leak early in her pregnancy and she lost her baby.
How common is this??? I know we have lots of worries, but I dont know why the heck did I read that story! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't know for sure. Not really heard about it that much. First i heard of it happening was when one of the girls on here had a scare. But, a friend of a friend is havin a baby and she started to leak and a small bleed about a fortnight ago. Apparently she ruptured her membranes by lifting a heavy box. Made me think to take extra care. Anyways, i wouldn't worry about these things too much, whilst they're at the back of my mind i try to keep them there, Got enough to worry about with things that are actually happenin |

Not sure but im thinking it was probably my story you read?
Try not to worry hun, its pretty rare & if you've had a healthy pregnancy up until now theres no reason to think you'd be at risk of anything like this.
I bled pretty much constantly from 6wks which weakened my membranes - not saying that this will happen to anyone else who's experienced bleeding as lots of ladies go on to have healthy babies after episodes of bleeding.
Its only natural for pregnant ladies to worry about things but try not to worry unnecessarily as its not good for you hun xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Stay away from those stories! I have read waaaay too many that are just downright scary from some people with bad experiences. Like women who have lost their babies just weeks before birth... no more reading that, it will make you paranoid! |

You are not allowed to read stories that are going to depress you - 'Google' is going to be banned from your computer!
Seriously though, there are so many rare things that can happen that if you worried about them all, you would be in a constant state of panic. I think it is natural that as first time mums, we do worry about every bit of discharge, aches and pains that we have, but we should remember that most of this is normal. If we have any concerns, we should take it up with the midwife or doctors - 'Googling' can just scare you unnecessarily.
Try to avoid worrying, even though it is hard!

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hiya,
My waters leaked at 19 weeks..... and then stopped, the rupture healed itself. My pregnancy is going absolutely fine now Just to say, everybody is completely different, and as said above, please please please don't Google.. it really is the worst thing to do, as you only ever pick up on the bad stuff..... |
