Contractions?

How do you know if you have had any. I had an appointment with the OBGYN the other day and she asked if I had had any yet. I said no.

But thinking about it now.... There have been a couple times my lower abdomen has tightened right up, its not too painful just uncomfortable like a sore muscle... It only ever does it once at a time and its only happened a couple times.

I am still pretty active, I believe you can have a contraction sometime after physical activity?

I think I need to start being more carefull at work with lifting and stuff.

Sounds like you may have had some Braxton Hicks.

Easier said then done. Im the kind of person who likes to "do"... I dont like feeling like I cant do things Hence why I only work at the hospital part-time, I am too cruel to my body I guess.

But im going to start not lifting and turning so many people. We have had some pretty large people that are difficult to lift.

Hmm sounds like BH's to me! I get those all the time, they just keep getting more and more uncomfortable the farther along you are. They actually hurt now.

If they are irregular, only uncomfortable, then I'm thinking BH's...
