Hiya, just wondered if anybody knows if Hertford Hospital tell you the sex of baby at 20week scan? I have mine on Thursday and was supposed to be going to Welwyn, who do tell you he sex but due to them being busy i have to go Hertford. Thanks.

Why dont you try ringing the ultrasound dept and ask what their policy is??

Hiya thanks for replying. I phoned them up and they said if your consultant doesnt mind you knowing than they will tell you. I said i thought it was down to hospital policy and they said no the consultant must give permission!

Speaking of Welwyn have you had a butchers at their birthing pool?

I havent seen the birthing pool, sorry. The labour wards are lovely and so is antenatal. Its my first time at welwyn as i went to watford with my daughter. Are you going to welwyn?

No im going to stevenage but everyone around here raves about the birthing pool at welwyn but ive yet to speak to anyone whose actually seen it lol

Just thought i would update. I phoned them again today to check where i had to go when i arrive at hospital tomorrow as ive never been there and i asked if the tell you the sex and she said yes!! Wahoo! Just got to pray baby is in better position than last time and they can see!

Thought i would update. I had my scan on Thursday and it was just my luck that baby was in awkward position Again and i still dont know what it is! My OHs mum thinks a boy from the scan pictures. I tried to scan them but scanners not working! I am now debating whether to have a gender scan or a 4d scan. Hope all bumps are good!
