| Fat or Pregnant?
I just thought I'd share some a funny stories from my day!
On Friday an official letter went home to the parents at my school explaining that I was pregnant and who will be covering my maternity leave, I was really excited as it means I won't have to carry on panicing that I'm showing too much!
I've had some lovely comments (and offers of baby things!) but the funniest thing was said to me my one of the Mum's this morning:
"oh I did think you were getting a little fat!"
One of my little 5 year old boys said to me this morning, "do you think you'll have the baby today Miss?" I replied, I hope not!

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aw how cute!! Kids always think in the very short term, nine months is like several years to a child.
Hey, you should take a poll for girl or boy, it was one of those crazy old wives tales we were testing out. 
The whole fat/pregnant thing can be quite insultig really. One day you're being told 'All you ever do is eat these days' (before they knew), 'I wouldn't worry about your bump if I were you, it's your arse you should be looking at', and one day I'm being told I have a proper little baby bump and the next that I'm not very big yet, and 'why do you need to be in maternity clothes already?'.
I reeaally want one of those 'I'm not fat I'm pregnant' T-shirts. lol |
