I'm Currently Feeling: | Aches and pains I woke up this morning and my stomach is really acheing, it kind of feels bruised. Could it be that baby has had a growth spurt and my uterus has stretched or do you think I should call my MW? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Bubbles,
I had a tough night with mild period like pains... still not gone yet. Luckilly I'm seeing the midwife this afternoon so I can ask her about it! Worried to death! Hopefully for both of us it's normal stretching/growing pains!!!
Will watch this thread for ideas from anyone else.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Probably your uterus growing and stretching. My OB told me that there is a lot of growth around 20 weeks! I had cramping too at your stage |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think its quite normal. Somedays it feels like LO is gonna burst out my tummy, like in the Alien movie
My tummy aches every now and then and i get like sharp jabbing pains that last for about a second but they are just normal stetching pains. Infact, i worry more when i dont feel anything at all!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi again! Just back from midwife who said the type of pains we're having sound normal 'growing pains'. She explained how organs are moving and womb is getting bigger. Fingers crossed, with no other symptoms, we're ok!
She also said I'd be horrified if I knew where my organs were going to end up in a few months - eeeek!!! DOnt tell me any more wifey-lady!

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi girls - you know I also think that as the uterus grows it squashes everything else up and if you look at those pictures it shows the intestines and everything really getting squashed - so all of that can also contribute to the aches and pains.
Having said that -- it never hurts to check with your mw or doc. |
