I'm Currently Feeling: | When does the third tri officially start hi, i hope i am not the only idiot who doesnt fully understand how the whole tri thing divides up....
On here we move up once we hit 26 weeks, but my emmas diary book states you go up a tri at 30 weeks. When do you actually move into the third tri? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm not sure what the breakdown is exactly. I moved into third tri at 27 weeks though. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | There are various thoughts on when it starts. If you divde 40 weeks equally then you move to 2nd tri at 13.3 weeks and third at 26.6. This forum says 27 weeks - 40 weeks is 3rd tri. Technically you're in your 27th week at 26 weeks so most people seem to go between 26 and 27 weeks. Confused???!!! |

| A trimester is based on 3 months, but obviously 40 weeks is slightly more that 3 sets of 3 months. Not sure how other sites work it out but we use the official NHS guidelines. |
