Great pics and good luck at your doctors appointment. As the others have said at least they caught it early and will keep an eye on you!

Remember that c-section is nothig scary, many have it and if I recall you were the one saying that you wouldn't mind having a c-section at all...

My Scan...and a problem... UPDATED

Hi girls, thanks again for all of your support and well wishes!! I finally am back from the doctor, and after she finally got the report on the cord, etc., she sat down with me to discuss what is going on.

So basically, I have the cord issue, which poses the issues for delivery, and my placenta is apparently rather low as well which doubles the issues. She did say that the baby shouldn't have any issues with growth, and she's measuring perfect for how far along I am. She's not going to schedule the c-section yet, but she did say she wants me prepared to have one as there is only a slight change of delivering vaginally. Honestly, I have come to terms with the c-section, I really didn't want one, but all I care about is that my LO is healthy, so bring it on!!!

Soooo long story short - I have to be especially careful to rest lots and no lifting, and if I have ANY signs of pre-term labor I am to go to the hospital immediately. If everything goes well, they'll most likely do the c-section around 10/11. So for now, everything is ok, and we'll just take this 4 weeks at a time, then 2 weeks at a time, then baby!!

to all of you for keeping me sane today!!

That all sounds very positive Terri! As you said, take it easy and see how things pan out. Lots of girls would be quite jealous that you may well get a c-section! The main thing is LO is fine and dandy!!
