I'm Currently Feeling: | Pain in my private areas Hi ya girls,
Alot of you have complained about stretching pains in your belly but my main pains at the moment are in my private area. I know it's prob my pubic bone or something but I just wondered do any of you suffer with this discomfort???? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had it on and off for about a fortnight around about 16/17 weeks. It was a bit like a stabbing pain, hurt when i stood up/sat down/ walked quite far. Its stopped now thankfully. Asked mw at check up she said it was just normal ligament pain caused from LO rising and pelvic muscles stretching. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had the shooting pain as well, it wasn't constant, just occassionally. When in doubt it can't hurt to give your MW a quick call |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh, I have had this for a couple of days now as well. If I sit down or stand still, it is ok, but I get a bit of pelvis pain when I walk. I went swimming on Friday and thought that this might have overstretched things. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've been having the odd sharp but not particularly painful, shooting sensation. Got a m/w appointment today so am going to ask her about it just to be on safe side. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | it's called "round ligament pain". it's something to do with the pubic bone and ligaments in your girlie bits adjusting/stretching/shifting in preparation for the birth. it feels like you're a barbie doll and your legs are being pulled apart in opposite directions lol, i've had it almost constantly for 2-3 weeks now. i find wrapping a hot water bottle in a pillow case and resting it against the sore area helps a lot. also sleeping with a pillow between your knees at night can help. and then there's the good old pelvic floor exercises which are said to help also. |
