I'm Currently Feeling: | I think I'd put on almost exactly that amount of 17 weeks. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I raised a similar thread a few weeks back as I was worried :-)
By 17 weeks I hadnt gained anything, but between 21 & 23 weeks I had gained 6lbs and now another 2lbs, but lost 7lbs in first 3 months.
Everyone is different and some peeps carry more fluid than others.... sounds fine to me hun :-)
I just need to cut back on the ice cream!!!! lol

| Im only cautious as I was loosing weight prior to pregnancy...had lost 2 stone and had about another 1 and a half to go. Reallllllly dont want to put on a stupid amount of weight to have to loose it again afterwards. DOnt worry though Ema, im not cutting back on ice cream for anyone!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Actually there IS such thing as too much weight gain during pregnancy. While gaining a good amount is ok, its not healthy for YOU. Remember that the baby and placenta and water only weighs a certain amount. The rest is all on your body and is going to cause the wear and potential health problems on your body. Im not trying to offend anyone, some people just forget about it when they are in the midst of pregnancy and cravings.
Loosing weight in the beginning is normal because of morning sickness, but also because some women cut down their physical activities and loose muscle, so you then loose weight too. |
