Got in from work earlier and my OH said that i'd had a phone call from the midwife. Felt very panicked!

Apparently the bloods i had taken at my 16wk appointment to check for spina bifida have been sent back to her with a note saying they no longer do the single test for spina bifida, they only do the triple test. (had nt scan) Am really cheesed off, i hate having blood taken anyway and i went through it for nothing. Bloody NHS!!

That's so annoying. I always have trouble when they take my bloods, as my veins always seem to hide away, so I too would've been properly cheesed off to have bloods taken for nothing. xx

im the same.... my veins hide!!! on monday i had the glucose test so race against the time to take my bloods!!! MW put the needle in and NO!!! She couldnt find a vein at all.... luckily the surgery nurse got it!!!

i declined the triple bloods because im a whimp
