Maternity wear - a good excuse for shopping!!!!

I went maternity wear shopping at the weekend - yipeee!!! For once, an occasion when shopping for clothes does not elicit a moany response from my hubbie.

There are very few shops in Aberdeen that actually sells maternity wear but I did get some nice stuff from New Look and H&M. My fave purchases were a really cute pair of denim shorts and a long maxi dress from New Look. The dress was a real bargain at only £10! So, I now actually have some summer clothes to wear on holiday!

I love the range of Maternity wear in New Look!! I really do hate maternity jeans that have that giant stretchy waist band on them but New Looks maternity jeans just have the stretch bit built in the pocket. I got 2 pairs, one boot leg & the other cropped for just £12 each. I danced out of the shop lol

Ohhh n Peacocks do really cute maternity slogan tops

I caved last weekend and bought myself a pair of cropped cargo pants with the elasticated waste and a super cute top which has a picture of a bun on it, then says 'In the oven' underneath. I LOVE it!

I've seen another cute top that says 'I'm Not Fat, I'm Pregnant!' on it. I'm so tempted to buy it

I wish you could buy Topshop maternity stuff in Aberdeen. You have to buy it online and then you have to pay postage and packaging!

Hah its ace. They do actually have loads of good stuff in there, especially the slogan tops which are really cheap. Think that top was £6! I've restrained myself pretty well so far though and not bought the whole lot.
