I got a plastic one last week, but it's still getting in the way, and OH is still nagging. He thinks it's time for me to leave my youth behind, and that means getting rid of my bar. When I took it out for my 12 week scan he confiscated it! I'm soooo stubborn but I think I'm going to have to go "naked"

I've had too take mine out, it started really hurting. So I bought a maternity one off ebay, but that seems too hurt too. It's like it's healing up, hard too get a belly bar in. So i'm not bothering anymore. But I know what you mean, I feel wierd without mine in.

You should take them out of change them to the maternity safe ones. My sister left hers in with her first baby and it was a nightmare. Went all wrong! She used the maternity bar for her second though and had no problems at all.

Don't leave it too late girlies!

I haven't taken mine out yet. when it gets to uncomfortable I take it out. This is my 4th pregnancy and I got mine done before my first child and right after each birth I just put it back in.
