I'm Currently Feeling:  | Crazy day yesterday!
Well, to start things off, I had to go out of town to have my 20 week u/s (YEAH!!). After fighting the baby to move around so we could see if it was a he or a she, we finally got to see the goods, and it is a BOY!! I am very excited now to know what we are having. It was a great appt. After that, we went to another hospital to see my mom who was there for problems with her heart. We visited for a while, then went and shopped a bit. While shopping my friend who was babysitting for me called to tell me that another one of our good friends was watching her house burn down so she was going to be watching her kids too! ARGGHH! That was very upsetting. My friend didn't lose everything to the fire, but this is very devastating for her. Well, we hurried home to get our kids and go to the hospital here to visit our friend who just had surgery to remove all the glands from his throat due to cancer. Poor guy, he looked like Frankensteins monster. Then, we traveled down the hall to visit my father in law who is in the hospital due to an infection in his knee from surgery. Whew! It was a crazy, busy, emotional day. I am glad I had good news to share w/everyone who was going through tough times. |
