Question

mucus plug?


hi all! hope everyone is well and enjoying them selves!
i v started to lose my mucus plug i think, can anyone tell me if i am...il describe it!..... like a very clear stiff jelly like discharge, not all the time, but every now ansd then over the last few days, i got 2 and a bit weeks till d.day, i been getting these strong peroid like pains, but with no regularity, mostly at nightn and morning, i been getting strong braxton hicksa too, all day, is this the start of it all??

Hi!

It sounds a bit like it. Does it have blood in it as well? The mucus plug is sometimes called the 'bloody show.'

I don't know if you have posted this in the Third Trimester sub-forum, but I would try posting in there as well as a lot of them are about your stage and have written about losing their mucus plugs.

Sometimes it's like clear jelly or it can be yellowish. It can also sometimes be more like snot!
