I'm Currently Feeling:

Well i was thinking about what i could turn around and say when a disabled guy cut through the middle of us so he could get on the train. Funny thing is she was so nice to him, stopping people pushing through so he could get on which is fair enough. Dp helped him on the train aswell. it just made me think how she had such different opnions. Not that i consider pregancy to be anything like disbaility but it just made me think the 2 different reactions. If she said about the disabled guy she would have been discriminating but becuase i'm pregnant it's not? I hope this makes sense in what i'm saying!!

I don't ask for special treatment, in the queue i wouldn't normally push, if i'm at the back i'm at the back and, fair enough the woman didn't know that, but the 1 time i do go to the front and i have that type of experience. The woman must also live in the same town as me coz she got off at the same station, tho chances of seein her again r slim!

Unfortunatly some people are just selfish, inconsiderate, maladjusted pigs.
Don't mind them, you had a great outing with your Partner and your little bubs, thats probably more then they can say...

Wicked old bitch! God I would have thrown something at her preferably some sort of food if I were you! Try not to feel bad about it though, some people are just so damn miserable themselves they have to go and try to make other people as miserable as they are so they don't feel so wicked and alone.

First of all, I think she was horrid to speak that way to you and try not to let it spoil what was otherwise a lovely time. I am interested in the discussion. I was recently with my daughter in a long line waiting to buy a cinema ticket. She is six months pregnant and we waited and stood and she admitted that she was a bit faint. I was intreagued to see another woman, no more pregnant than my daughter come in, walk directly to the front of the line saying "Excuse me I'm pregnant" and got served immediately. We just waited our turn. It left me wondering whether behaviour that I and my daughter thought was out of order and rude was simply appropriate and acceptable and that we were just old fashioned and stupid.

I think this must depend on how the pregnant woman feels. My first tri I have felt so shitty and it has killed me to be on my feet but I hope and anticipate that in my 2nd tri I will be more energetic and might not care so much for a seat being given up or whatever. Likewise, once I'm massive I would hope people would have a care about me again! I guess if you feel ok there is no reason to take liberties with people just because you can, however, if you're feeling rotten or struggling then perhaps have the courage to be more brash than you might normally consider acceptable.

HUn, try not to dwell on it. Some people are just miserable by nature, and it's simply in their nature to moan and whine about others.
As for the train thing, I am quite clearly looking pregnant now, and was travelling on the underground with my 2 young god-daughters the other day, after a day out in London. The train was packed, and I managed to sandwich both of the girls on 1 seat, whilst I stood in front of them, trying to keep them seated, hold all the bags, coats etc, and try to hold on to a bar to keep upright! Plenty of people looked but nobody offered up their seat. Until at one point the train lurched forwardly rather suddenly and my 7 year old god-daughter spoke up (in a rather loud voice, bless her!) and said
" Careful Auntie Claire. If you fall over you could hurt your baby!" It was only then that the man in the next seat got up and offered for me to sit down.
Don't let it pu you off having time out again, it's important to take time for yourself to relax. Just try to ignore all the rude, ignorant numpties out there! xxxx
