As some of you may know, i dont have a 16 week appointment so i have just called my doctors and the midwife is going to call me when she is out of her appointment with someone so hopefully...........!!!!

I really hope to get one as im getting paro that i dont have a bump yet and im getting scared that the baby isnt growing or something so I hope for her to listen to the heartbeat.....Is it the heartbeat easy to detect at 16 weeks??

She should be able to find the heartbeat but can still be difficult depending on where the baby is positioned. Try not to worry hunny, im sure everything is fine and like I said to you before, i dont really have a bump, i just look a bit fat!

Baby's heartbeat will be good and strong by now so should be able to hear it quite quickly, providing baby is in the proper position.

Aww dont worry. Between 12-14 weeks I started doubting I was even pregnant.

At 14 weeks I wasn't showing. My mom didn't show until she was 6 months with me. Some women manage to stay thin for quite a while.

Don't worry. You'll pop soon and then you'll be wondering why you were wishing it upon yourself

My consultant listen to my babies heart beat today and found it fast and strong, within about 3 seconds! He put the proble on my tummy and it picked it up straight away!
I think at 16 weeks, they should be able to hear it nicely, depending on where baby is laying. Good luck!

No worries, the bump will pop out sooner than you think...and want.

At 16 weeks the heartbeat should be strong I belive you'll be able to hear it...

Hi Rachie! I had virtually no bump at all until about 19/20 weeks and then it sprouted!!! Try not to worry!

Good luck with your appointment. Agree with the others....different people show at different times. And yes your doctor should be able to find the heartbeat at 16 weeks
