We wanted to know, as I like to plan things out and to me, I needed to know in advance. My OH felt the same. And to me, it was so worth it when the sonographer said "it's a girl!"... I was on

We both really want to know!! It's my scan tomorrow and I can't wait to find out either way

Personally, I think it will really help us bond with LO as we'll be referring to our little boy or little girl rather than 'it'. Also it will be nice when I'm shopping for baby too!!

xx

We both want to know and are finding out on June 13th. To me the birth will be just as special and exciting. The surprise of the sex is the surprise of conception to me, so finding out now or later is no different.

I really want to have everything prepared for this baby and knowing if its a boy or girl is the only way. I dont like the idea of painting and setting up the nursery in a gender neutral way.

I'm sort of dying to know but am going to try hard to resist the urge, as I want that whole element of surprise thing. Also it's quite fun with ebery body guessing, listening to old wives tales etc.

After two children and giving away all the baby stuff a number of years ago, it was good for us to find out so that shopping can be geared around the gender, etc.

Of course, it is nice to have a surprise and because they didn't tell us the gender when I was pregnant with my other two, it was a surprise.

It's entirely your decision.

Our hospital doesn't tell you but there is a private clinic in aberdeen and you could pay for a private sexing scan. We want a surprise so wouldn't want to know.

I think it is personal - go with your gutt feeling!

It's entirely your decision. Dont let other people influence what you want to do. I had people attempting to guilt trip me when I said we'd be finding out. Honestly it's none of their business whether you find out or not.

At first I didn't want to but DH did. He likes being organised. So I gave in LOL
I'm glad I did. Since finding out it's a girl I've been alot more excited about meeting her. It hasn't taken anything away.
I was getting sick and tired of green clothes too. At least now I can paly around a bit more with her wardrobe.

I really did want to know as I wanted a girl and thought it was a boy (how awful does that sound!) Then everyone kept saying 'he' and so now ive come round to the idea of having a boy. So as Im not really fussed about which sex it is im not sure I want to know now! Im also confused!!! I think it will help with bonding to be able to call him/her by their name rather than it. OH would rather not know though...
