Stretching pains??

Hi girls

I have been in pain since the moment i woke up until now(4pm). The pain isnt in my tummy but further down, around where my uterus would have started off at, that make sense??
Anyway it has been so sore all day to the stage where i have had trouble to walk and get up of chair.
Is this just stretching pains or should i call midwife? i dont wanna waste her time asking questions about something that is normal in pregnancy.
Any help/advice would be great

Thanks xx

Hi hun

It could very well be stretching but I think you should phone your midwife definitely and speak to her for some comfort if anything.

I'm not sure tbh but didn't wanna read n run.

I had pains at 16 weeks that was like a stabbing when i sat down n stood up. lasted about 10 days. they occured once in a blue moon for the day aswell. I was told it was round ligament pain from the increase of weight. The muscles in your cervix are softening aswell. If it is really really painful though i would ring the m/w or gp just to be sure.

It sounds like it could be round ligament pains, but if you are worrying I would go ahead and give your MW a call, she's there to answer your questions when you have them

I get pains sort of like stitches on both sides of my pelvis mainly when I am sitting down or lying down but although painful they only last a few minutes. My midwife told me it is normal but I think you should get advice anyway rather than worrying over it. Hope you feel better soon.
