Achy hips after walking

Hey
Im sure there was a post about this a while ago but cant seem to find it so I apologise for repeating it!
I was just wondering whether any of you girls get achy hips after walking? Im nearly 27 weeks and its just started happening. After Ive walked a bit far it feels like baby is going to pop out. Sometimes when I bend down I get sharp shooting pains down there TMI sorry! At my scan last week, baby was sitting in a weird position, head to my right side, bum in my pelvis and legs in my left side this is maybe why. I dont want to bother midwife as im seeing her next week. Does this sound normal?
Sorry to ramble on lol

Thanks
Chaela

Sounds like the way the baby is lying is causing pressure on you pelvis which would effect your hip joint. Also shooting pains is a common symptom for SPD, where the baby is lying on a nerve. But the pain is usually located in your bum and down your leg, but that doesn't mean you should rule it out.

I hope it eases x

Yep I get this, especially when I've done a lot of walking in a day! It usually disappears within a day or two though.
