I'm Currently Feeling: | Womb aches Hi all, I'm visiting from 1st trimester and wondered if any of you could help me out. I'm 11 weeks now so expecting my womb to rise up anytime in the next week or so. Today I've started getting quite a lot of sensation in my uterus. Not cramping, more like sore aching if that makes any sense. I've had quite a lot of aching on and off but not for a couple of weeks. Also had quite some low backache.
Basically I'm wondering if it could be that my uterus is trying to grow but is getting more and more squashed behind my pelvis til it rises up. Did any of you have funny feelings before your tummies popped? For a few days now it's been getting quite sensitive if my waistband or belt digs in when I'm sitting. Kind of similar now but I'm in loose jamas so nothing is pressing.
Any advice/own experiences most welcome! |

| Yeh I had a bit of discomfort as my uterus started pushing up. Try to wear looser fitting clothes.
If you are concerned just have a word with your MW. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | If you're quite a toned person, that can hurt to. When I had my son my MW's told me I'd have a small bump because my stomach muscles were so good and it was holding my bump in! And I got bad aches with him. Now my stomachs gone to pot |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks so much everyone! Sadly I'm not at all a toned person but this is my first so it's all new stretching. It's reassuring to hear that you've had similar experiences.
I think I'm having a hormonal change as my sickness took a distinct turn for the better yesterday and I had a terrible night's sleep for the first time in ages, also my digestion seems to be on the move again! A new stage here I come!
See you all here in a couple of weeks and thanks again. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I get funny aches every now and then but its normal. My back stopped hurting a couple of weeks ago but now its my hips that are suffering. A few days ago a had a funny pain just under my belly button. Not really painful, just uncomfortable like something was trying to burst out of it! Anyway, now i've noticed that my bump under my belly button is actually alot bigger.
The aches and pains you get are just your body stretching. If you feel anything out of the ordinary or you experience bleeding then contact your MW/GP. |
