travel insurance?

Hi all

We are planning a holiday to Italy for a week, leaving this Sat 24th and I am trying to source a suitable insurance policy. I have no complications (other than the fact that I am pregnant!), and will be nearly 27 weeks when we leave, and nearly 28 on return.

I see Axa's policy covers pregnancy as long as EDD is not within 8 weeks of return date, which should be ok.

Any advice on particular policies/previous expereinces/what to look for would be much appreciated!

Thanks
Shaz

Hi there

Have you tried the post office travel insurance?. I know my sister travelled with this when she was 26 weeks pregnant and returning when she was 28 weeks and she was covered. You could try looking at their terms and conditions on the website.
Sorry I couldnt be more help

Hello!

Ive recently been on holiday and found that most insurance policies cover you providing you have had no complications and your doctor/midwife will issue you with a fitness to travel form. Make sure you get one of these forms as I have heard that some insurance policies will cover you for pregnancy but only if you have a form!

Hope you have a fantastic holiday!

I think most are fine - I was just told to check annual policies as they can be slightly different.
